Day 1: Nairobi – Meru National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or directly from the airport. As you journey northwards, your guide will take you across the equator—a great moment to stretch, take photos, and mark your crossing from the Southern to the Northern Hemisphere.

Arrive in Meru National Park just in time for lunch and check-in at the luxurious Elsa’s Kopje, perched on Mughwango Hill, offering sweeping views of the wilderness below. Spend the early afternoon relaxing and soaking in the serenity.

In the late afternoon, set out on your first game drive in Meru’s wild terrain—known for its elephant herds, giraffes, rhinos, and birdlife. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the plains, you’ll return to camp for a hearty dinner and a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 2: Full Day in Meru National Park
Wake up to birdsong and the gentle rustle of acacia trees. After a hot breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive, covering Meru’s diverse habitats—from doum palm forests to open grasslands and winding rivers.

This is the best time to witness wildlife at its most active: lions preparing for the hunt, elephants bathing in muddy watering holes, and hippos peeking from beneath the river surface. Don’t forget to scan the trees for elusive leopards and listen for the cry of the fish eagle.

You’ll enjoy a packed or lodge lunch before continuing the adventure into the afternoon. Later, return to the lodge for a sundowner, followed by dinner under the stars.
