Day 1: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your Ugandan safari begins! After meeting your guide and a quick briefing, you’ll depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes you deep into the heart of Uganda’s scenic countryside, with a stop along the way for lunch and refreshments. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at the park for a short introductory game drive—your first glimpse of the wilderness that awaits.

Later, you’ll head to the lodge, tucked away just outside the Ishasha Sector, where a warm dinner and a restful night under African skies await.

Day 2: Game Drives in the Ishasha & Northern Sectors
After breakfast, your safari continues into the famous Ishasha Sector—renowned for its rare population of tree-climbing lions. These elusive cats often lounge in fig trees, and your experienced guide will navigate known hot spots to give you the best chance of sightings.

After lunch at your new lodge near the park’s northern region, you’ll head out again for an evening game drive. As the golden light sets in and temperatures cool, the bush comes alive. This is prime time for wildlife sightings—expect elephants, buffaloes, and possibly a predator or two on the move.

Day 3: Kazinga Channel Boat Safari & Transfer to Kasese
After a relaxed breakfast, the adventure continues with a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel—a natural waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George. This area is a hotspot for wildlife activity. Watch hippos bobbing just beneath the surface, see elephants and buffaloes coming to drink, and admire vibrant birdlife including pelicans, kingfishers, and fish eagles. On a clear day, the Rwenzori Mountains provide a breathtaking backdrop.

After the cruise, you’ll journey to Kasese town for lunch and check-in at your hotel, where you’ll rest and prepare for the mountain hike the next day.

Day 4: Rwenzori Forest Hike & Nature Walk
The day begins with a drive to Trekkers Hostel in Kyanjuki, just outside Kasese. After a safety briefing, your guided hike into the Rwenzori foothills begins. The trek starts gently, winding through montane forests filled with bird calls, primate chatter, and lush vegetation. You’ll pass scenic ridges, bubbling streams, and untouched forest habitats, gradually gaining elevation.

Birding enthusiasts will enjoy the special off-trail route where sightings of bush pigs and rare forest birds are common. This immersive walk gives you a taste of the mystical beauty of Uganda’s "Mountains of the Moon."

Day 5: Return to Entebbe

Upon arrival in Entebbe, your safari concludes with a drop-off at either your lodge or the airport—bringing to a close a journey of remarkable wildlife encounters and highland adventure.
